Cloud Bawa is a fashion, beauty, and culture publication in India, and it sets out its own standard in its masthead: “fewer stories, better told”. That is the whole design brief. A publication competing on depth rather than volume cannot use the layout its high-frequency competitors use — endless card grids that treat every piece as interchangeable — because the format itself contradicts the promise.
- An editorial structure across Fashion, Beauty, Runway, Culture, and Living, so a reader arrives in a section rather than an undifferentiated feed
- A long-form reading layout, since the publication competes on the quality of the individual piece rather than on how many it can publish
- A newsletter signup and social presence built in as the return path, because a publication of this kind lives on readers who come back rather than on one-off search traffic
- A dedicated advertise page, so the commercial side of a title funded by advertising and sponsorship is a real page rather than a line in the footer
